This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil , and is exclusively on-site.

Function Description
As an Aftermarket Product Development & Lifecycle Maintenance Engineering in the Regional Customer Program team, you will be responsible of managing in-service product performance, relationship with customers / airframe OEM & aligning service team to meet our specific program strategies. Part of a team of experts, you will have the opportunity to influence business models and to lead an integrate product team (IPT) to define and influence the redesign of a part which could affect the safety, durability,



reliability of a product and the cost of operation of a regional airline.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Act as technical liaison between OEM, Engineering and Customer Service, ensuring aftermarket requirements are integrated into the development of new engines.

Lead the definition and implementation of aftermarket technical requirements within Product Design Requirements Specifications (PDRS) and monitor compliance throughout the engine development lifecycle.

Contribute actively to the development of engine maintenance plans and commercial offers.

Develop maintenance strategies and direct maintenance cost (DMC) assumptions to optimize engine reliability, time-on-wing performance, and operating economics across various mission profiles and operating environments.

Evaluate part replacement, repair, exchange requirements, and repair limits to support lifecycle cost optimization and aftermarket profitability.

Identify and mitigate technical risks impacting customer satisfaction and aftermarket business objectives, driving cross-functional engineering solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from aircraft OEMs by providing maintenance cost analyses, technical evaluations, and aftermarket requirements guidance.

Support spare parts pricing strategies, annual investment audits, retrofit cost analyses

Leverage field experience and lessons learned to influence design modifications and ensure long-term product supportability and customer value.

Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, business development and customer service subject matter experts and strategy owners to define, monitor, track, and influence new engine programs deliverables





Maintains effective communications with key EIS modules / stakeholders, multidisciplinary and global team members.

What do you need to be successful?

Bachelor degree with 15 to 20 years' experience

Master degree with 6 to 10 years' experience

Field of studies: Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Strong project management skills

Business sense is a key competency in this role

Good technical, product knowledge (engines)

Background with engine repair / overhaul process

Previous direct customer / OEM experience

Solid people and communication skills

Solid computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, etc.)

Occasional business trips

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
