Be the Chief Engineer at Atlantic Towing, serving the Harbour and Coastal fleet by ensuring safe and effective engine room operations. Lead maintenance activities and uphold environmental standards to support maritime missions.

This role involves overseeing the engine room department, directly reporting to the Captain. Your focus will include monitoring machinery, implementing maintenance protocols, and conducting performance appraisals of engine room staff. Additionally, you'll ensure all safety processes are meticulously followed, aligning with company objectives toward environmental protection and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure proper engine room watchkeeping is maintained
• Manage equipment performance and repair schedules




• Supervise engine room team and oversee safety practices
• Maintain proper documentation and survey records
• Prepare and submit performance reports to the office

Requirements:
• Possession of 3rd Class Motor Certificate of Competency
• 4-7 years of relevant engineering experience
• Certifications in Marine Emergency Duties and Transport Canada Medical
• Marine Advanced First Aid and CPR
• WHMIS and TDG training
