As a Senior Application Security Engineer at Temporal, you will collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure comprehensive security integration throughout the development process. You will also conduct threat assessments and maintain the integrity of our Secure Development pipeline, while actively participating in shaping our security policies. Key to success in this role is the ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Embed security principles in product architecture and design
• Perform thorough threat assessments and risk evaluations




• Manage the Secure Development pipeline and ensure secure libraries
• Keep abreast of emerging security policies and standards
• Triaging Bug Bounty results and addressing vulnerabilities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or sufficient experience
• Over 5 years in application or product security roles
• Experience working closely with engineering teams
• Robust understanding of secure communication protocols
• Familiarity with security assessment tools
