Become a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Calgary’s Oncology Department. This full-time role emphasizes participant recruitment, data management, and coordination of clinical research studies.
Based at the Colon Cancer Screening Centre (CCSC), this fixed-term position lasts about 12 months. You will manage clinical trials by recruiting participants, scheduling activities, and ensuring accurate data collection and entry. Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in clinical research are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and administer clinical research projects per protocols
• Manage participant recruitment across multiple sites
• Conduct informed consent discussions with participants
• Schedule and perform telephone and in-clinic interviews
• Collect, verify, and manage participant data
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant health-related field
• 5 years of clinical research experience preferred
• Research certification (e.g., CCRP) is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and REDCap
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
