Lead a dedicated team as the Electrical Trades Supervisor with the City of Vancouver. Oversee traffic and electrical operations while ensuring safe, timely project execution in this full-time position.

This supervisory role is integral to the Traffic and Electrical Operations Branch. You will manage crew assignments, monitor the completion of projects safely and efficiently and conduct quality checks. Proven electrical experience and leadership skills are essential for effective performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate work of field crews effectively
• Monitor work orders in the Hansen management system
• Provide training to recent hires and apprentices
• Conduct hands-on repair work as necessary




• Consult with other branches for improved practices

Requirements:
• Inter-provincial certificate in Electrical Trades required
• Extensive experience in traffic signal and street lighting maintenance
• Proficiency in using electrical tools and systems
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License needed
• Strong leadership and organizational skills required
