Become a vital part of the interdisciplinary Emergency Department team at Misericordia Community Hospital (MCH) as a Physical Therapist I. Assess and treat diverse patient conditions while collaborating with health professionals in a temporary part time position.

This Physical Therapist I role focuses on providing client-centered therapeutic care within the Rehabilitation Medicine department. You will work independently to assess clients' physical status and develop integrated care plans. This position enhances service delivery and supports Covenant Health's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care




• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for patients
• Assist with recommendations for assistive equipment and resources
• Adapt to different inpatient units as needed

Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized Physical Therapy program
• Active registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) certification
• Previous training in Connect Care is preferred
• Ability to provide patient-focused, evidence-based care
