Cardinal Energy Ltd. is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to lead operations at the Reford Thermal Projects in Saskatchewan, on a 7on/7off schedule focused on safety and efficiency.

With over 12 years in sustainable energy development, Cardinal Energy is launching its second thermal heavy oil project and requires experienced Shift Engineers. Your role will involve overseeing operations, ensuring safety compliance, and optimizing production processes. Exceptional teamwork and leadership will be critical as you mentor junior operators and collaborate with maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations ensuring production and safety standards
• Support maintenance planning and assist during outages
• Record shift operations, safety incidents, and performance metrics




• Promote a solid safety culture and adhere to regulations
• Drive continuous improvement through operational feedback

Requirements:
• Class 3 power engineering certification or higher
• Minimum 5 years of experience in thermal heavy oil
• Proficient in steam generation and well operations
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
