Empower students as a Learning Support Teacher for Grades K-9 at School District 71. Provide essential support and strategies for students with diverse learning needs to thrive in an inclusive environment.

In this temporary 1.0 FTE role, you will work with students facing low incidence challenges and learning disabilities. Collaborating closely with classroom teachers, you’ll help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and instructional strategies tailored to students' needs. This position calls for a passionate educator committed to fostering an inclusive learning community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and support students with various learning challenges
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement IEPs




• Provide direct remedial instruction to students
• Adapt curriculum to meet students' specific needs
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements:
• Degree in Special Education preferred
• Experience in K-9 educational settings
• Knowledge of early literacy interventions
• Ability to administer Level B assessments
• Solid collaboration and communication skills
