Support students with learning difficulties as a Special Education Technician at Saint Lambert Elementary School. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized education plans.

This 27.5 hours per week temporary role requires working directly with students who have specific needs. You will contribute to developing and modifying I.E.P.s, support students academically, and facilitate their inclusion in activities with peers. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and community services is essential to ensure comprehensive support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Apply special education techniques for students with learning disabilities
• Collaborate with teachers to modify and develop I.E.P.s
• Support students as outlined in their individual education plans




• Organize integration activities during lunch and recess
• Prepare progress reports and keep accurate student files

Requirements:
• Diploma in special care counselling or equivalent
• Standard first aid certificate completed within the last three years
• Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary team
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to support training for less experienced technicians
