Join Covenant House Vancouver as a Crisis Youth Worker and play a crucial role in transforming the lives of at-risk youth. Support them in achieving their personal goals and aspirations.

In this vital position, you'll work directly with young individuals aged 16-24 who have faced significant trauma. Your responsibilities include providing immediate needs such as food and clothing, while also fostering trust and relationship-building. You will collaborate with a team to assist youth in creating personalized plans, allowing them to transition successfully from crisis to independence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and assess youth accessing services
• Develop supportive relationships to foster trust
• Provide orientation and program information




• Collaborate on youth goals and action plans
• Support community engagement and activities

Requirements:
• Diploma/degree related to social services
• Experience in similar youth-focused roles preferred
• First Aid & Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
