Reports to: Assistant Director, Talent Acquisition
Salary Range: $62,609.62 to $70,814.71 per annum
Union/Excluded: Excluded, Schedule A

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.
Hybrid Work Model
This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the flexibility to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus. The requirement for on-campus presence is a minimum of 40% of your schedule in a month.
Additional requirements are determined by the role functions and operational needs of each business area.
Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting jobs, scheduling assessments and interviews, preparing candidate materials, and managing candidate records and communications in Oracle Fusion.
Maintain recruitment and employee records, job descriptions, templates, and documentation across HR systems, including Oracle Fusion, SharePoint, and MS Teams, while supporting audits and reporting requirements.
Administer employee lifecycle processes,
including employee onboarding and offboarding, employee data updates and employment related changes.
Perform salary calculations to determine pay entitlements in accordance with the collective agreement, terms and conditions for excluded employees and HR policies.
Triage and respond to inquiries and service requests providing accurate information and guidance in accordance with policies, processes, procedures, collective agreement and terms and conditions for excluded employees.
Support HR systems and continuous improvement activities by maintaining procedures, conducting audits, updating knowledge resources, and troubleshooting Oracle Fusion issues.
Provide administrative support to the People and Culture division and assist with talent acquisition purchasing, expense tracking and Mastercard reconciliation.
Qualifications
Must have
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years (preference for three years) of recent experience providing human resources administrative support in a complex, corporate setting that includes:
Experience supporting end-end recruitment
Experience interpreting and applying HR policies and legislation
Hands-on experience with HR systems (e.g., applicant tracking system (ATS), talent management, HRIS, etc.)
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Teams
