Drive public service as a Project Coordinator with the City of Vancouver. This role focuses on reviewing Development and Building Permit applications, ensuring compliance with city by-laws while operating in a hybrid work workplace.

In this full-time position, you will engage with homeowners and design professionals to ensure application completeness and adherence to zoning regulations. Your technical expertise will support Vancouver’s commitment to sustainability by coordinating with various city departments, performing technical calculations, and communicating essential information to the public.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and accept Development and Building Permit applications
• Conduct application intake meetings with clients
• Perform zoning and building by-law evaluations




• Coordinate communication across city departments
• Update city software and databases as needed

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 with related courses or diploma
• Experience in zoning administration and building by-law interpretation
• Strong time and project management skills
• Excellent communication abilities in high-stress situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
