Lead youth development initiatives as a Youth Center Coordinator in Community Programs. Focus on providing essential advising, program planning, and the emotional growth of young people aged 13-29.

In this full time role, you will oversee programming, scheduling, and support for youth within the community. Responsibilities include organizing activities, workshops, and cultural events that foster personal growth and community interaction. You will directly report to the Elders, Youth and Neighborhood House Manager, ensuring all activities meet the center’s mission to promote health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
• Administer program schedules and event planning
• Organize cultural and social activities for youth




• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the Youth Centre
• Engage youth with community Elders for dialogue
• Handle inventory management and food procurement

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth
• Education in youth services, counseling, or recreation
• Strong understanding of Lil’wat culture and traditions
• First Aid Level One and CPR certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
