Make a difference as a Case Management Specialist in The Salvation Army's Women’s Shelter and Transitional Housing programs. You will provide critical support to residents and help them navigate resources effectively.
This full time role focuses on resident support and case management to enhance the well-being of those facing challenges. With responsibilities that include engaging with community services, conducting assessments, and offering crisis intervention, your efforts will directly impact residents' lives. The position also requires administrative duties such as maintaining records and supporting program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome and orient residents to programs and services
• Conduct intake interviews and assessments
• Facilitate workshops and educational functions
• Manage data entry and maintain resident records
• Participate in community meetings and collaborate with agencies
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma in social services or mental health
• At least one year of frontline casework experience
• First Aid certification required
• Police Information Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
