Contribute to creative mining as a Geological Field Technician at IAMGOLD’s Côté Gold Mine. Your role will focus on field data collection, sampling, and supporting operational decisions.

As a Field Technician (Geology), you will work closely with the Chief Geologist, managing sampling, material tracking, and transportation activities at the site. The position is essential to maintaining high-quality data essential for informed geological decisions at Côté Gold. With a minimum of three months of related experience preferred, you'll assist the Geology team while ensuring safety protocols are followed in a vibrant mining setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect samples from drilling operations for grade control




• Dispatch samples to laboratories accurately
• Maintain the inventory of geological supplies
• Operate field trucks and equipment safely
• Assist in marking ore blocks in the field

Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Diploma in geology or mining is an asset
• Minimum 3 months related experience preferred
• Previous open-pit mining experience is advantageous
• Basic computer skills required
