To respond to the priorities of the Government of Ontario through the passage of the Bill 5, Protect Ontario by Unleashing Our Economy Act 2025, the resource may be partially assigned to Bill 5 related projects or initiatives on an as needed basis. The contractor will work in office 3 days per week (40 St. Clair West, Toronto) as per OPS directive and LRC management guidelines A highly skilled and experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 and Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), PL/SQL, and data warehousing, with a robust background in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and cloud migration. This role involves working closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality data delivery and system integration.
Key Responsibilities Contribute to and support design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Migrate Informatica PowerCentre v10.2 ETL code including embedded SQL and PL/SQL code developed using Oracle 11g and 19c
Test migrated embedded SQL code and PL/SQL based Stored Procedures.
Performance-tune and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve ETL issues, including performance tuning and recovery to achieve optimum baseline-based performance
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources into data warehouses (star/snowflake schemas).
Translate technical specifications into fully tested applications and data pipelines.
Collaborate with vendor and entire project team for unit testing, debugging, and validation of ETL processes.
Document technical designs, deployment guides, and support materials.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and iterative delivery.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and access control policies.
Provide post-implementation support and participate in knowledge transfer sessions.
