As a pivotal member of the team, the officer will be responsible for fostering connections with elected officials and coordinating advocacy efforts that resonate with community members. A background of 2-5 years in advocacy, political organizing, or related fields is essential. Strong communication and organizational skills will be vital for success in this dynamic position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate relationships with political leaders and community organizations
• Execute mobilization campaigns to advance NCCM's priorities




• Support the planning of advocacy initiatives at multiple government levels
• Facilitate collaboration among coalition partners and stakeholders
• Monitor and report on campaign progress and political developments

Requirements:
• 2-5 years of experience in public policy or advocacy
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian governmental processes
• Proven skills in relationship-building and communication
• Highly organized with effective project management capabilities
• Flexibility for travel and weekend events
