AgeCare seeks a Casual Cook to ensure timely and quality meal services in a person-centered care environment. The position requires prior cooking experience, preferably in a leadership role, and a valid Safe Food Handling Certificate. You will oversee food service operations, respond to dietary concerns, and guide Food Services Workers while meeting the dietary needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve meals on schedule without compromising quality
• Check special diet orders for accuracy for new residents
• Direct Food Services Workers in daily kitchen tasks




• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
• Address resident inquiries or issues regarding meals

Requirements:
• Experience as a Cook, ideally in a supervisory role
• Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Minimum public school education required; high school preferred
• Diploma/certificate in food preparation and production
• Healthcare experience is an asset
