This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, translating complex historical narratives in both English and French for diverse groups. As a Heritage Interpreter, you will assist in developing programming, manage ticket sales, and ensure the upkeep of the museum's front-line conditions while interacting with the public.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engaging tours and workshops for visitors
• Monitor and report on museum conditions for quality assurance
• Execute cash, debit, and credit transactions
• Conduct ongoing research to continually improve presentations
• Train current visitor experience staff and volunteers
Requirements:
• Degree or certificate in history, education, or tourism
• Fluency in English and French
• Strong customer service orientation and communication abilities
• Leadership skills with a positive disposition
• Capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure
