Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking an Indigenous Birth Support Worker for Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatoon. The role is in Maternal Services 1, full time, 1.0 FTE with day, night and weekend shifts.
The worker will provide emotional support, physical comfort and information before, during and after childbirth, and may liaise with Elders and Traditional Healers to honor cultural preferences.
