Executive Assistant (Family Health Team) Permanent Full Time Admin/Support Staff Toronto, ON, CA
Salary Range: $48,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually
The Carefirst Family Health Team (FHT) is seeking full-time permanent Executive Assistant to join our innovative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, community-based care.
About Us
Carefirst FHT is committed to delivering exceptional, comprehensive primary care through a team-oriented, team-based model that includes family physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, service navigators, dieticians, physiotherapists, and medical receptionists. We have a robust Chronic Disease Management and Prevention program, including a Diabetes Education Program, and are actively involved in many of the Ontario Health Team’s primary care initiatives.
Our “Hub & Spoke Model” and strong community partnerships ensure coordinated, high-quality, patient ‑ centred care across the continuum. We work closely with Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association to provide truly integrated services.

Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program
Specialist Clinics: psychiatry, cardiology, endocrinology, optometry, geriatric medicine, gynecology, chiropody, rheumatology, physiotherapy, and audiology
Clinic Locations
We currently operate five well-established clinics across Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Stouffville and continue to expand in Markham to support continued growth and community needs.
Current clinic locations:
300 Silver Star Blvd, Scarborough (Midland / McNicoll)
360 Highway 7 East, Richmond Hill (Highway 7 / Chalmers Rd)
Upcoming new clinic locations:
Employees will be assigned to a location that aligns with the operation needs ,
with occasional rotation to support clinic operations.
We are currently seeking a Executive Assistant to fill a new position at our Family Health Team.
Terms: Full Time Permanent
Pay range: $48,000 - $60,000 annually
Responsibilities:
Prepare executive documents, Ministry reports and funding proposals in support of Senior Management
Establish and maintain rapport with Board of Directors, its Committee and other organizations
Assist in quality assurance activities, such as Accreditation and Quality Improvement Plan
Assist in developing the FHT's programs and services in accordance with the directions, strategies, policies and principles established by the Board of Directors and its Committee
Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Create and develop administrative documents as required
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or a related field
Superior writing and communication skills
Ability to maintain sensitive information and exhibit tact, diplomacy, and good judgment, with high standards of ethics and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
Organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks
Fluent in English and a second language that reflects the community served, such as Cantonese, Mandarin, is an asset
A valid vulnerable sector police record check completed within one year
