Become an integral part of BC General Employees' Union (BCGEU) as an Administrative Assistant in the Negotiations Department. Showcase your administrative proficiency while supporting negotiation activities.

In this L3 role, you will report to the Director of Negotiations and provide pivotal support through handling various documents, maintaining productive filing systems, and coordinating appointment schedules. Your ability to communicate effectively and prioritize tasks will be essential in ensuring smooth departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process contracts, reports, and memoranda
• Coordinate strike and ratification vote materials
• Organize filing systems and daily follow-up tasks




• Respond to inquiries and assist walk-in visitors
• Arrange travel, accommodations, and appointment schedules

Requirements:
• 2-4 years of administrative experience required
• High school graduation enhanced by administrative training
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
