This position reports to the Manager of Resident Services at Huron Lodge. You will develop therapeutic recreation programs tailored for residents, promoting their abilities and enhancing their quality of life. Individual and group activities are essential, alongside regular assessments and care plan updates for recent residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and facilitate therapeutic recreation activities
• Conduct assessments for individual care plans
• Update resident care plans quarterly
• Communicate with multidisciplinary teams regularly
• Assist residents in community trips and activities

Requirements:
• Two-year diploma or related university degree
• Experience in Long-Term Care settings
• Valid Class 'G' Driver’s License
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work weekend shifts as required
