DHL Express currently has an opening for a Casual Warehouse position in our Edmonton, AB location.

Shift: Must have availability from Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm. There are no set shifts for this role.

Wage: $23.38/hour and will increase as per the CBA.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned deliveries and pickups and/or other tasks assigned by supervisor

Vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Scan freight as per agreed procedures

Organize and sort all freight to appropriate routes

Move freight within the warehouse area as per requirements

Accurately sort and process, by deadlines, inbound material

Assist Tracing Department with thorough warehouse checks for missorts, on-hands, etc.

Participate in the organization and clean-up of the warehouse area

Participate in maintaining a safe and co-operative work environment

Perform Front Counter Duties

Perform HIC duties

Perform accurate reporting





Other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift supervisor

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry parcels, up to and including 70 lbs per piece, throughout shift

Forklift certificate

Demonstrated ability to work effectively and on-time within tight time constraints

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting

Meet security requirements

Broad general working knowledge of warehouse functions

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the DHL operations system

High School Diploma

All applicants are required to pass interviews, a criminal check and other background checks in order to qualify for the position.

High School Diploma, forklift certificate, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, knowledge of warehouse functions, experience with DHL operations systems
