Join our team as a Production Engineer, focusing on up-to-date techniques in naval construction. In this full-time, in-office position, you'll take the lead in designing and optimizing production processes.
As a key member of the Production Engineering group, you'll create Manufacturing Instructions and technical documentation to promote high-quality shipbuilding. Your collaborative skills will help bridge design and production, ensuring project success. This role is perfect for those dedicated to continuous improvement within the shipbuilding sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create Manufacturing Instructions for complex procedures
• Design tools including jigs and templates
• Ensure accuracy in Production Drawings
• Approve Vendor Furnished Information communications
• Execute engineering test plans for new processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering; eligibility for P.Eng. preferred
• Minimum 3 years in shipbuilding or heavy industry
• Familiarity with ship production and planning
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and standards
• Skills in AutoCAD and 3D models interpretation
