CAMH is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Crisis and Critical Care team for a temporary 6-month position. In this role, you'll provide holistic, client-centered psychiatric nursing care, work collaboratively with diverse populations, and participate in program development. Orientation is provided to ensure the development of essential skills needed for the acute psychiatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with clients and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor and assess mental health and substance-related disorders




• Document clients' mental status and treatment responses
• Facilitate group programming and mentorship for students
• Engage in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention training

Requirements:
• Registered in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses
• Current B.C.L.S. (CPR) certification required
• Preferred CNA certification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
• Experience in psychiatric nursing with mental illness/addictions
• Solid leadership and problem-solving skills
