We develop advanced enterprise software used throughout the life sciences market to manage pathology data and support cancer informatics. We are passionate about developing software that makes a difference.

We are looking for a versatile Product Manager who can bridge strategic product vision with day‑to‑day Agile execution. In this remote role you will own the product roadmap, define market‑driven requirements, and support the development team in delivering high‑quality features/releases on schedule. You will act both as the voice of the customer (Product Manager) and as the facilitator of the Scrum process (Scrum Master) for a small but mighty development team, championing continuous improvement, transparency, and alignment across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Vision & Strategy – Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals, market trends, and user needs.

Roadmap Planning – Build and maintain a prioritized product roadmap; translate high‑level objectives into actionable epics and features.

Customer Insight – Conduct user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking; synthesize findings into product requirements.

Backlog Ownership – Write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria; continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog.

Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with founders, leadership team, and Engineering to align expectations, gather feedback, and coordinate releases.

Metrics & Success – Define KPIs, build and develop dashboards; monitor performance post‑release and iterate based on data.

Scrum Mastership (≈50% of time)

Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies – Lead Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Sprint Review,

and Retrospective meetings; ensure they stay focused and time‑boxed.

Remove Impediments – Proactively identify and resolve blockers that hinder the team’s progress, escalating when necessary.

Team Coaching – Support the development team in Agile principles, self‑organization, and continuous improvement practices.

Process Optimization – Track metrics and drive experiments (e.g., Definition of Done refinements, Kanban flow tweaks) to improve delivery predictability.

Required Skills & Experience

Product Expertise: 3–5 years of product management experience (B2B/B2C SaaS preferred). Proven ability to launch successful products from concept to market.

Agile Mastery: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent experience; 2+ years of hands‑on Scrum facilitation. Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).

Analytical Ability: Strong data‑driven mindset; comfortable using analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics) and translating insights into product decisions.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at storytelling to executives, engineers, and customers alike.

Collaboration: Demonstrated success working with cross‑functional teams, negotiating priorities, and building consensus.

Technical Literacy: Familiarity with software development lifecycles, APIs, and UI/UX concepts; able to converse fluently with engineering.

Nice‑to‑Have

Experience with OKRs or similar goal‑setting frameworks.

Background in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare) where compliance impacts product decisions.
