This position will join our team working in Timmins, Ontario on a full-time basis. The schedule will primarily depend on employee location and travel requirements.
This position offers a salary range of $55.00 - $80.00 perhour.
Primary Responsibilities Operatepneumatic and/or top-hammer production longhole drills
Drillproduction holes according to approved layouts, specifications and direction
Completedrill setup, alignment and relocation between work areas
Performdrilling in various orientations and ground conditions
Completepre-operational inspections and identify equipment deficiencies
Monitordrilling performance, hole condition and equipment operation
Assistwith routine maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting as required




Maintainaccurate drilling and production records
Workeffectively with supervisors, engineering, survey, blasting andmaintenance personnel
Maintainclean and organized work areas
Followall applicable health, safety and operating procedures
Preferred Experience Minimum2+ years of pneumatic and/or top-hammer longhole drilling experience
OntarioUnderground Hard Rock Miner Common Core, with applicable longhole drillingmodules.
Demonstratedunderground hard-rock mining experience
Experiencewith production longhole drilling and associated drilling practices
Abilityto interpret drill layouts and underground production instructions
Strongunderstanding of safe drill operation and underground workplace hazards
Abilityto work in a physically demanding environment
Validdriver’s license
