Elevate your plumbing career with Health Shared Services as a Journeyperson Plumber/Steamfitter. This full time position focuses on plumbing systems at the Alberta Children's Hospital.

Your expertise in installation, testing, and maintenance is crucial in our Facilities Maintenance & Engineering unit. You will work with piping systems, fixtures, and heating systems while documenting and analyzing performance metrics. An essential requirement is your ability to interpret technical blueprints and your familiarity with computerized maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform installation and plumbing services for various systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot high and low pressure steam systems
• Document and analyze plumbing performance data




• Prepare feasibility and cost estimates for plumbing tasks
• Order supplies and manage plumbing equipment

Requirements:
• Accredited Journeyperson Plumber and Steamfitter certificates
• 3-5 years’ experience in an institutional setting
• Knowledge of the National Plumbing Code
• Ability to interpret blueprints and utilize a maintenance system
• Physical fitness to lift 50 lbs and work from heights
