JOB SUMMARY We’re seeking a qualified Partnerships Manager to manage our Referral Partner Program. This entails identifying and reaching out to potential partners, onboarding and coordinating the marketing launches and set-up for new referral partners, and regularly engaging and collaborating with existing referral partners. This role also includes coordinating internally to update marketing materials on the partner resource portal, scheduling interviews and meetings between partners and the co-founders, ensuring that the partners understand the tracking and commission payment process, providing regular updates internally about partner activities that may drive free trial and subscription traffic, and assisting marketing in promoting and sharing about interviews and collaborations between FLFE and referral partners.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and be comfortable juggling multiple projects and using many different tools and systems to accomplish their role. They have the initiative to seek out and attract potential referral partners, identify strategic relationships and opportunities, follow up and guide new referral partners through the marketing launch, and maintain ongoing relationships to ensure mutual goodwill and benefit while ensuring that the parameters of the referral partner program requirements are maintained.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Marketing and Sales Director, and collaborating with the co-founders as well as marketing, accounting, CRS/CSS, and IT team members. Working hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, or as per business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a positive state, which means having a professional/positive presence when with colleagues and referral partners.
Self-regulate, self-motivate, and practice self-care.
Research and engage and secure potential aligned partners and opportunities for FLFE to gain awareness, reach and subscriber growth. Present qualified candidates to Marketing Director for vetting and approval.
Onboard new referral partners by helping them understand and communicate the benefits of FLFE, training them to use our referral partner resource portal to find appropriate marketing resources and track their referrals, and assisting with the launch and ongoing elements of their marketing plan. This may include coordinating internal marketing support to design and host their FLFE landing page and help and collaboration with other marketing materials, promotions, and events.
Monitor and communicate with existing partners to assist their growth.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop new and updated resources and communications for referral partners and to collaborate on events.
Update referral partners on FLFE service enhancements and developments and create excitement and incentives for continued collaboration and growth.
Create engaging campaigns for Referral Partners to inspire them to easily share the benefits of FLFE.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Director on quarterly campaigns, Referral Partner attainment and reach goals and other collaborative marketing efforts.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Director on defining the parameters for Referral Partner engagement and creating clear onboarding and transition pathways for partners whose engagement is not meeting program goals.
Coordinate with the CRS/CSS and accounting teams using our CRM system (Keap) and e-commerce platform (WooCommerce) to ensure that we serve our subscribers with care and are appropriately linking and paying commissions per our referral partner program parameters.
Report and analyze the progress of the Referral Partner Program to management.
Update the referral partner resource portal with the assistance of marketing.
Troubleshoot and upgrade tracking attribution, accuracy, and commission issues.
Participate in team meetings, presentations, and company events.
Continuously upgrade business skills utilizing the available resources (e.g., leadership training) and office tools (i.e., software, platforms) needed to be more effective in this role.
Manage two partnership assistants with the possibility of additional team members as the department grows.
BONUS IF YOU HAVE Background or demonstrated interest in wellness, spirituality, consciousness technology, or related industries.
Prior experience working with subscription-based products, services, or business models.
Background in sales, business and partnership development, or relationship management.
Familiarity with tracking link systems, affiliate management, or referral program administration.

REQUIREMENTS Eligibility to work in Canada is mandatory; candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents who either live in Nelson or are willing to relocate to Nelson, BC.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or marketing preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in marketing, marketing communications, sales/business development, and affiliate/partnership marketing, with a preference for digital and social media marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and professionally across multiple channels.
Passion for partnership development, relationship building, finding genuine alignment between FLFE and potential partners, and collaborating on co-marketing initiatives.
Experience with CRM software systems (particularly Keap and WooCommerce), including account management, customer database administration, and analytics.
Demonstrated proficiency with marketing and project management tools such as Trello, Monday, or similar platforms.
Basic experience with creative and design tools such as Canva helpful.
Social media proficiency and comfort using multiple platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
