Take on a pivotal role as Chief Surveyor at Deep-Water Intake Group, leading the surveying efforts for the refurbishment of the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. Ensure the successful management and precision of monitoring data while prioritizing safety.
In this challenging position, you will oversee monitoring teams responsible for collecting data essential for the construction of a current deep-water intake. Your role will involve training junior staff, managing survey resources, and liaising with both clients and engineering teams to address any concerns. With a focus on continuous improvement and sustainability, you will contribute significantly to the project's safe and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage survey activities across the project
• Collect and validate all monitoring data for accuracy
• Program and maintain tunnel guidance software
• Attend and report in daily review meetings
• Develop junior team members and support their growth
Requirements:
• Degree in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or relevant field
• At least 10 years in construction surveying
• In-depth knowledge of tunnel monitoring systems
• Experience in managing diverse teams
• Critical problem-solving skills in field operations
