Canada Post is looking for Letter Carriers (Delivery Agents) to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta on a temporary, on-call basis. With 36 vacancies available, this is an prospect to join one of Canada's most recognizable national institutions.
Responsibilities:
Sort and prepare mail and parcels at the depot each morning
Load and drive a Canada Post postal vehicle along assigned routes
Deliver mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to residential and business customers
Return to the depot to unload incoming mail and packages for later delivery
Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions throughout the year
Represent Canada Post professionally in the community
Requirements:
Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years (driver's abstract required)
Physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb)

Availability to be on-call
Ability to read, write and speak English and/or French
Experience in customer service (asset)
Experience making deliveries or working as a driver (asset)
