Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide quality visitor services to the public, work with various point-of-sale systems, selling permits and revenue collection.
They’re also appointed to record visitor statistics, provide visitor information and respond to inquiries in person, by email, and over the phone.
Candidates are appointed to perform routine cleaning and maintenance of grounds and facilities.




Job requirement Candidates must attain a secondary school diploma or equivalency approved by the PSC to be eligible for this post.
They must attain dedicated experience in paid or volunteer work that entails direct contact and communication with the public.
Candidates must attain dedicated knowledge of communication, presentation and interpretive techniques such as storytelling, demonstration, theatre programs or guided walks.
They must be able to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations to be eligible for this post.
Candidates must attain experience in performing arts, heritage interpretation, teaching, adult education, museum education, or storytelling.
They must hold a valid class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Work setting Candidates must have to perform shift work, irregular hours, overtime, weekends and/ or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays when required.
