Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Automation (10+ years) to support the modernization and enhancement of their framework.
The Quality Assurance Analyst – Automation – will analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive automated testing strategies, frameworks, and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test cases using Playwright and Visual Studio Code , covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Demonstrate strong software development and coding skills , with the ability to design, develop, and establish scalable test automation frameworks , reusable components, coding standards, and automation best practices.
- Develop and validate automated tests within a Playground/testing environment , including test data, assertions, debugging, screenshots, traces, and test reporting.
- Integrate and execute automated testing through DevOps and Azure CI/CD pipelines , ensuring automated tests are incorporated into application builds, deployments, and release processes.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, troubleshoot automation failures , and collaborate with development teams to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Report on QA and automation activities , including test coverage, execution results, defects, risks, issues, and recommendations, while providing input on testing strategy, automation architecture, level of effort, priorities, and timelines.
