In this position, you'll support the Resource Facility's animal care team. The successful candidate will handle mice and rats, ensuring their welfare and cleanliness of the facility. You'll work closely with other staff to maintain accurate health records and assist in technical procedures while upholding ethical standards in animal care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine animal care duties for mice and rats
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the facility
• Monitor and document animal health and welfare
• Assist in technical procedures alongside Research Associates
• Manage inventory and collect tissue samples as necessary

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in life sciences preferred
• Experience in animal care is an asset
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg
• Basic computer skills and communication capabilities
