Job Title: Electronic Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling, installing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic assemblies in a clean, well-organized manufacturing environment. You will work from mechanical and electrical drawings to build junction boxes, electronic controls, and related assemblies, while ensuring high-quality standards and accurate documentation throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other electronic assemblies according to mechanical and electrical drawings.

Install and test completed electronic assemblies to verify proper operation and performance.

Act as an inspector for final electronics checkout to ensure assemblies meet quality and functional requirements.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure proper installation and testing of completed electronic assemblies.

Participate in reviews of wiring diagrams and interconnect drawings to support accurate assembly and installation.

Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to support both production and aftermarket needs.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations.

Use equipment and supplies efficiently to conserve resources while achieving job results.

Contribute to team success by training others in the performance of moderately complex electronics assembly tasks as needed.

Inspect all work thoroughly before passing it on to the next operation to ensure quality and accuracy.

Document work performed by completing required production and quality forms accurately and on time.

Essential Skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.

Experience using small hand tools, hand tools, and power tools such as drills and screwdrivers.

At least 1 year of wiring experience in an electronics or electrical environment.

At least 2 years of electronic assembly experience.





Electrical schooling or formal education in an electrical or electronics-related field.

Capability to lift and handle up to 50+ lbs as part of daily duties.

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Comfort working from wiring diagrams and interconnect drawings.

Experience documenting work using production and quality forms.

Ability to train and support colleagues on moderately complex electronics assembly tasks.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with manufacturing and other teams.

Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in electronic assemblies.

Work Environment
You will work in a medium-sized manufacturing facility of over 200,000 square feet that is very clean and well lit, providing a bright and comfortable environment. The production floor includes six assembly workstations, eight welding cells, a paint booth, and an epoxy mold department with more than ten machines. The role follows a day shift schedule, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,



supporting a consistent routine and predictable working hours

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brampton, ON.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Brampton,ON.
