Overview




The Avison Young Vancouver office is seeking a Financial Analyst, able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with a team of senior multi-Residential brokers.

The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated to be between $50,000 to $65,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through a bonus. This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all Canadian locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity. This posting is for an existing vacancy withing our organization.

Responsibilities

Produce financial models (using Argus and Excel) of varying complexity, including but not limited to detailed cash-flow/pro-forma projections and development models

Assist with deal structuring and scheduling and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders

Gather and evaluate economic, demographic and real estate market data for input into project specific deliverables

Write proposals and offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning capabilities

Assist with preparation of presentation and pitch materials for new business pursuits

Prepare research pieces for special events and presentations

Conduct market surveys including sales and lease comparable

Identify, analyze and support the pursuit of brokerage opportunities

Assist with the daily management and workflow of the production pipeline

Assist in developing Avison Young’s profile in the market by identifying marketing opportunities, including conferences, speaking engagements and networking

Maintain current and fluid knowledge of regulations and adapt to changes quickly

Assist in reviewing legal documents such as leases, loans, and engagement letters
