Halton Healthcare seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our outpatient neurorehabilitation program. This part time position focuses on assisting therapists in improving patient care outcomes.
As a member of our team, you'll facilitate progress for patients under the guidance of therapists in a compassionate and inclusive setting. It's a temporary role for those who thrive in fast-paced environments and prioritize patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the execution of therapy plans for patients
• Monitor and report on patient progress during sessions
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team effectively
• Ensure the therapy area is organized and patient-ready
• Document treatment details as per protocols
Requirements:
• Completed OTA/PTA Certificate from an accredited institution
• At least one year of relevant neurorehabilitation experience
• Proven patient care skills with neurological and geriatric patients
• Able to accommodate the physical demands of the job
• Effective communicator with a patient-centered approach
