Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our supply chain team. This role is vital in managing and optimizing the movement of goods, coordinating transportation, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with warehouse distribution, procurement. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to streamlining logistics processes, supporting demand planning, and enhancing overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities
Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) and manage freight logistics to ensure timely deliveries
Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, pricing negotiations, and vendor relationships (including 3PL providers)
Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sourcing strategies and supply chain optimization initiatives
Maintain accurate records of shipping & receiving transactions and update relevant databases regularly
Experience
2-3 years of experience in a dispatch role.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS),
Hands-on experience with freight management, 3PL coordination, procurement processes, and materials management
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, packaging, and forklift operation preferred
This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Candidates should be adaptable to evolving technology platforms and committed to continuous improvement within the supply chain.
