The Centre for Research on Health and Nursing is hiring a Research Assistant to facilitate BIPOC student group sessions. This role is perfect for a Faculty of Health Sciences student with a passion for organization and leadership. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, managing communications, and preparing necessary content for discussions that promote awareness and support among diverse students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and coordinate BIPOC student group sessions
• Manage communications with group members and presenters
• Maintain records and statistics of group activities
• Prepare relevant meeting content and reports
• Facilitate peer discussions and group learning activities
Requirements:
• Enrollment in a Faculty of Health Sciences program
• Robust organizational and time-management skills
• Experience organizing student events (asset)
• Knowledge of BIPOC issues (asset)
• High level of English proficiency, French is an asset
