The Job! Reporting to the Vice President, you play a key role in securing new deals, renewals, and more for a variety of industrial (retail and office) properties across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You will:
Respond to lease inquiries and assess feasibility based on tenant use and potential conflicts.
Evaluate financial credibility of prospective tenants for approval.




Gather and provide necessary information to assist agents in presenting properties.
Arrange property viewings and consultations with potential tenants.
Work with Tenant Coordinator to determine finishing specifications and lease rates.
Recommend and discuss lease rates and terms for executive approval.
Prepare and present lease proposals based on approved terms.
Negotiate leases and coordinate with legal counsel to resolve issues.
Ensure vacant units are presentable and meet landlord standards.
Maintain leasing website with available units and accurate information.
What you bring to the job To excel in this role, you must have the following qualities:
A high school diploma and/or college diploma or university degree ideally in Business, Real Estate, or Marketing
A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in real estate, ideally in retail leasing
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Knowledge and experience with Yardi Voyager would be an asset
Understanding, knowledge, and experience in reading lease documentation and zoning by-laws
Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and upholding the utmost accuracy
Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle for property visits within the GTA
