This unique position requires a Master's degree or Diploma in Special Education, along with a valid BC teaching certificate. Key responsibilities include managing case files, diagnostic assessments, and developing Individual Education Plans. Experience with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage case files and maintain detailed records
• Administer and interpret Level B assessments
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for student success
• Support classroom students and teachers directly
• Develop and monitor Positive Behaviour Support Plans
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid BC teaching certificate and Teacher Regulation Branch membership
• Experience with CBIEP within MyEd BC platform
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (or willingness to train)
