Contribute to the upkeep of parks and harbours as a Parks Maintenance Labourer with the Town of Oakville. This temporary full-time position offers hands-on work with maintenance and litter pick-up duties.

The Town of Oakville is hiring for up to three contract positions lasting approximately two months. In this role, you will assist in various tasks, including debris collection, snow shoveling, and equipment maintenance. Candidates should be prepared for a full time schedule, including occasional weekends, as you support the community's green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with boat lifting operations at the harbours
• Perform litter pick-up and facility inspections in parks
• Collect limbs, debris, and litter from various areas




• Prepare ground for maintenance work, including sod laying
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment regularly

Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent experience
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License Class G
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
• At least 1 year of relevant equipment experience
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
