The BCHP CRD-IRSU is seeking a dedicated constable responsible for traffic enforcement and impaired driving investigations. You'll work closely with local law enforcement to reduce fatalities through targeted strategies, while also engaging in criminal interdictions. This position includes opportunities for career development and a maximum tenure of 4 years.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct traffic enforcement on high-risk behaviors
• Detect and investigate impaired driving instances
• Prepare reports for criminal investigations
• Engage in criminal interdiction operations
• Collaborate with multi-jurisdictional law enforcement
Requirements:
• Knowledge of the Criminal Code and Motor Vehicle Act
