Join BrightPath Kids as a dedicated full-time Educational Assistant, supporting early childhood development without evenings or weekends. Leverage your skills to make a positive impact in children's lives.
This role at BrightPath Kids involves collaborating with a certificated teacher to design and execute educational programs that cater to diverse learning needs. Build rapport with children and their families while tracking individual progress and implementing engaging activities. As part of a supportive team, you’ll contribute to a nurturing learning environment, write Individualized Program Plans (IPP), and communicate effectively with parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help children with diverse needs in their learning environment
• Develop and implement customized programming for individuals
• Foster relationships with children and their families through communication
• Collaborate with the team to enhance learning experiences
• Write and update IPP and tracking documentation
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience with children or in childcare settings
• Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license required
• Must fulfill provincial childcare employment prerequisites
• Up-to-date Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
