Join Northern Health as a Clinical Nurse Educator in Dawson Creek, where you will deliver impactful training to nursing staff and elevate patient care standards. This role combines nursing expertise with teaching in a cooperative environment.
As a Registered Nurse with a focus on education, you will help staff enhance their competencies by designing and implementing training programs. With at least three years of recent experience in maternity/LDR units, you will participate in developing preceptorship and mentorship programs while aligning practices with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver training programs for nursing staff
• Facilitate ongoing mentorship and preceptorship initiatives
• Evaluate and revise nursing care standards and policies
• Coordinate in-service educational sessions for staff
• Assist in compliance with nursing best practices and regulations
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Three years of recent clinical experience
• Two years of teaching or curriculum development
• Current CPR certification
• Valid BC driver’s license
