The Opportunity Position Title: Collaborative Practices Facilitator
Location: Prince George
Employment Type: Full Time 35 Hours/week

What You’ll Do Alternative Dispute Resolution Receive referrals from a number of sources including but not limited to the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) Team Leaders, Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS) and community service providers, families, Chief and Council and hereditary leadership
Contact potential participants and determine suitability to the program-obtaining background information
Prepare for family dispute resolution by assisting families to identify family members, extended family, service providers and other significant people who may participate in the conference, and by contacting the identified people to invite and prepare them for the conference

Collaboration Develop and deliver training and educational materials that provide an orientation to staff, community and other agencies regarding the family dispute resolution process
Promote awareness and encourage use of the family dispute resolution by communities/agencies serving families
Work with other service staff and professional staff in communities to integrate services,



including working with professional and other front line workers of integrated health, child welfare and other social programs

What You Will Bring To The Role Bachelors of Social Work or related field preferred
Diploma in Social Services or related field required
Two years’ experience in child welfare work
Experience or certification in Mediation or Conflict Coaching is an asset
A combination of equivalent experience and education may be considered

Compensation The target hiring range for this position is $ 41.837 to $ 51.471 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity
