Join NorQuest College as a Casual Instructor, impacting the future of healthcare through our Health Care Aide program. Located in Edmonton and Wetaskiwin, this role focuses on student engagement in clinical and classroom instruction.
As part of the School of Applied Health Sciences, you will help develop instructional materials and provide hands-on learning experiences. This role also involves supporting students with individualized educational plans and assessing their competencies in real-world settings, aligning with the college's mission to empower students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement instructional materials for classes
• Teach in clinical, lab, and classroom environments
• Provide constructive feedback to students for their growth
• Conduct skill assessments in line with curriculum
• Document and maintain student progress records
Requirements:
• RN or LPN designation with active registration in Alberta
• Preferred three years of clinical nursing or teaching experience
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
• Required one year of teaching experience for LPNs
• Availability for clinical placements and travel required
