As an Intermediate Buyer reporting to the CMLU Material Manager, you will join a team-oriented procurement team. Your key responsibilities include sourcing materials, negotiating supplier contracts, and managing purchase orders through JD Edwards. You will maintain supplier relationships to ensure top-quality parts and advocate for continuous improvement through Lean practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Source parts and materials from existing and new vendors
• Prepare and negotiate requests for quotes and purchase orders
• Manage and track purchase orders in JD Edwards




• Monitor supplier performance and address discrepancies
• Implement cost reduction and Lean initiatives

Requirements:
• 3-5 years' experience in aerospace purchasing preferred
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of MRP systems; JD Edwards is an asset
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances
• Commitment to occupational health and safety policies
