Take the lead as a Branch Manager at the Ontario Native Women’s Association (ONWA). This role focuses on supporting Indigenous communities and requires strong management, advocacy, and program implementation skills.
As a Branch Manager, you will guide various programs ensuring they align with ONWA’s strategic goals and community service delivery. The role requires an individual with at least five years in a supervisory position, robust cultural knowledge, and previous advocacy experience for Indigenous women. Your collaboration and administrative skills will help create safe spaces for community members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and coach staff across various programs
• Manage and implement programs to meet standards
• Collaborate on branch goals and community needs
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment
• Facilitate achievement of program deliverables
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Indigenous Learning or relevant field
• Minimum five years in a supervisory role
• Experience advocating for Indigenous women
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and related trauma
• Strong organizational and communication skills
